[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our old(1999) system with Bosch and couldn't be happier. New system is much quieter. We are using our system much more because it is easy to hear and talk while using. When in use, the Bosch is taller and seems to catch more of the smoke and odors. Very pleased with our upgrade.. The Treviso Downdraft is chic, simple, and simply spectacular. Out of sight when not in use for those coveted open kitchen sightlines, this one-and-done hidden downdraft has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. A sleek, efficient louver makes this a very visually pleasing solution for nearly any kitchen.

Replaced an older downdraft system from the 90s, this unit was best for me because beneath the countertop, the motor can be movedpositioned either in front of or behind the unit. It rises much taller than my previous unit and seems to have decent strength, although of course, nothing will compare to a hood mounted above the cooktop.. Elizabeth. NY. Wed Jan 21 2026

5" Side-mounted telescopic downdraft vent. The hood can be mounted next to any freestanding or slide-in range.

I love it, so far. It's been three days, so time will tell the real story.. Keith. Olympia Fields, IL. Sun Jul 23 2017

This thing is pretty amazing actual. My only complaint is the dial to raise and lower the hood/CFM speed. The metal dial itself is of nice construction but the black bezel that surrounds it feels cheap.. Sean. Topeka, KS. Tue Jan 26 2021

Amazing! This is very powerful and our house isn’t Smokey even when making steaks. Get it!. Rebecca. US. Sun Oct 25 2026

The brushed stainless steel filter unit houses quiet, efficient centrifugal blowers. An automatic heat sensor adjusts blowers in high-heat conditions. Automatically raises into position with the touch of a button. Disappears flush with the cooktop surface. Space-saving design lets you make the most of precious, under-counter cabinet space. Great downdraft vent! Rises high enough to pull most smoke and steam away from all pans, much of it from the front burners, but the back burners are a no-brainer - nothing escapes, especially when the fan is turned to high. Fan control is smoothly variable from almost silent to roaring hurricane strength. Recommend that you use a large diameter vent to the outside to prevent back pressure (we have a 6" adapted down at the fan). The up/down limit switch is easily adjustable, and is covered when adjustment is finalized, so (kids) cannot tweak it for us. Great purchase and we are very happy with it.. James. Orefield, PA. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the 800 Series downdraft we paired wiht our Bosch Induction cooktop. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. The unit was compatible with the exhaust vent from our old Jenn-Air cook top. Highly recommend this downdraft. Iras. Thu Nov 13 2025

The product arrived late due to "weather" however there was no weather issues along the route. Once it arrived the package was severely damaged. There were loose screws floating around and the styrofoam used to support hood was busted and no longer protecting the unit. We have not installed the unit yet to see if it functions but there were minor metal pieces bent. The pieces bent looking salvageable so hopefully it works once installed. I usually have better luck with shipping from Wayfair.. Amanda. Olympia, WA. Wed Dec 14 2022
