I replaced my over the range hood to stainless steel. It really makes the kitchen look better and pulls everything together. It was easy to install. Scan the Qr code to watch the installation video. Very nice Range Hood! Really good quality. The fan isn’t too loud and the light is VERY bright, but can also be dimmed. It also comes with a remote which is a nice convenience to have. There were also some extra goodies that came with it! I would definitely have this professionally installed by two (or more) people if you were considering doing it yourself. So far so good. Install was relatively easy, but because of its size, having a few extra folks to help hold it in place would be a good idea. My wife and I managed, but it was a bit tricky for just us 2 folks to install and we almost gave up. The gesture control seems a bit finicky, and we can't get it to work reliably. Maybe with time we'll figure it out. The buttons work fine though, and the remote control is a nice touch. The stainless-steel finish, display, and led lights look great. Definitely an upgrade from the Broan powerpack it replaced. As far as noise, it seems to be as loud as our old Broan PM350 we replaced. The grates tend to vibrate a little, so that with the fan contributes to the noise. I was hoping for something quieter, but it's no worse than the unit it replaced, so not a deal breaker. As for airflow, it seems a bit stronger than the broan unit it replaced, which was rate for only 350cfm. This one is rated at 900cfm at max speed, but i don't have a way to measure/confirm that. The fan cage seems bigger, and it's been doing a good job so far of keeping the smells/vapors out of the kitchen while cooking. It arrived quite quickly, protected by plastic wrap and white foam. Installation was a bit tricky—we had a very basic, older-style hood before—but this new one has incredible suction power. We are currently in the process of adding the ductwork to vent it outside. This hood is an excellent choice; it makes the kitchen look beautiful—I can't believe what a difference this change has made. I’m very happy with my new hood. It even came with towels and heat-resistant gloves, which was a nice surprise, even though I had seen them mentioned in the listing. It includes a paper template to show where to place the screws. Well this is a great product but putting it together was a lot! The instructions were hidden along with the screws necessary for installation. Very impressive range hood for our mini kitchen remodel. We just had this installed by an electrician friend - took him about 2 hours, but that’s because our old one was not a plug in and he had to drill a couple holes in our cabinet. The fan works great and the lights are nice and bright. The fan is a tad loud but I don’t mind because it works so much better than our old one. This is exactly the hood range that I was looking for. I needed one that did not need to be ducted outside so it needed to be recirculating, and I had a hard time finding one in black and in the size that I needed which was 30 inches. Luckily Wayfair had exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I have to wait a few weeks before the electrician could come in to do the work but I wanted to get the review posted. Great upgrade to my older unit , lots more power and suction on fan , better led lighting, very well made unit, 3 different ways to control unit , wage hind in front of sensors to turn on fan and change speeds , use buttons on front of either side of unit or use the remote control. This is a work in progress. I’m so far very happy with the quality of this range hood. The look is what attracted me to it. I wanted something modern but not too common. I will need to follow up with more pics after is fully installed. It is quite heavy so I’m reinforcing my ceiling just to make sure it is very secure.
