I absolutely love this shoe storage cabinet. It’s attractive, functional, well priced (especially under 200), and easy to assemble. I’m able to store over 20 pairs of shoes (I wear a size 10) and still have room left. I even slid three pairs of slides underneath the cabinet for extra storage. The cabinet is metal, and while it’s not extremely sturdy when being moved — mainly because the back consists of two thin panels secured together — it feels perfectly stable once assembled and in place. The glass panels allow you to see the shoes, though I’m considering frosting them for a cleaner look since I don’t need them visible. Taller boots may not fit unless you remove or adjust a shelf. I just finished assembly. It took me way too long but I got it done! It looks beautiful. You do have to be careful with some of the screws in the manufactured wood but the finished product is solid. I do think the back panels should be the same manufactured wood as the rest. The very thin nails to secure part of the cardboard panels are difficult to hold let alone nail in. It turned out beautifully. At first I was intimidated by how my steps there were, but everything went smoothly, and I put it together while watching a tv show. The only part that confused me at first was the page concerning the door alignment. After looking at it a couple more times and attaching the doors, I realized the page was to help with adjusting where the doors would stay on the piece of furniture. I remembered some of the comments complaining about a weird gap between the doors, but the page has instructions on how to increasedecrease the spacing. I’ll include a picture of the page, but I found it very helpful once I realized what I was looking at. I definitely recommend purchasing the piece of furniture. It holds all of my shoes just fine.. This is a beautiful item. Took me some time to put together. One of the last steps is putting on the doors, one of the doors was damaged. Not sure if Wayfair can just send me a door.
