My purchase decision was based on dual lock/unlock capabilities with digital pad AND key. A template is provided to help align deadbolt lock stem with its coordinating hole pocket. Brand: Delaney Hardware. Model: Lever. Its only been a week, but so far, so good. IMPORTANT There are no instruction how to unlock the door using the digital pad. When the door is locked, press the keypad to activate it. Then 3 or so random numbers appear lit; all the other numbers do not light up. Press those 3 or so numbers that are lit . Everything perfect. Shopping was easy, lowest price, Quick shipping. It doesn't get any better than that. This is our second unit. We had one on the front door and loved it. I bought this for the back door. Many reviewers were disappointed that it didn't have a key lock in case the battery failed. Well, that is intentional to stop people from entering with a bump key. I figured that it was very unlikely for two locks to have battery failures at the same time so I was safe installing this one. But to my surprise, they have improved it by giving you jump battery pins that will allow you to operate the lock even when the battery is dead by using a 9 V battery in your hand and holding it up to the pins. I put this on my Christmas wish-list and Santa obliged me with two of them. I installed the first one on my back door. Everything went well and I was up and running in about 20 minutes, But, as I fiddled around with it I was somewhat disappointed to learn that the overall functionality is average. I did not read too many of the reviews, although it was recommended in its category. It works with my smart home hub, which is a lesser known company but fits well with my idea of a smart home system. But I was disappointed to learn that I could only lock/unlock the deadbolt lock. I could not find out which code was used to manually open the door nor could I set up any lock codes through the hub. The reality is that I didn't do enough research.
