Extremely disappointed in Wayfair and this product. I ordered two of these products in each of them showed up damaged. The first one had two corners completely crushed in and dented. The second one arrived with a 2 inch punctured hole, through the metal even, in the side of the unit. When I opened the door, the knob was missing from the temperature controls. Once I found the knob, I tried to put it on where it belonged however, I realized that the whole unit that runs the temperatures was actually broken and did not even fit in the compartment to attach the temperature knob too. We plugged their unit in to see if it would run and work. The unit turned on and ran however it made extremely high-pitched random noises and ran completely uneven with different varying up and down pitched sounds, obviously the cooling unit is not working properly.. I’m having trouble writing this review. I thought for sure I had submitted it twice. Here goes and hopefully number three is a charm. I love the deck box. It’s sleek contemporary sturdy. I appreciate the hydraulic lift, but I have found it important to close it applying the pressure directly in the middle. I have not tested the lock, but I’m grateful for that, as I will be storing some valuable items in it while outside. I lost my large shed last month, so this is a lifesaver for me! It seats 2 to 3 people comfortably. With a sleek design, it would nicely fit behind a sofa, under a stairway or even delineate an area. I plan to place it out on my large patio to store cushions a small tool kit and anything else that needs to get put away to avoid clutter. I am planning on using it to store my gazebo canopy this coming winter. All in all, it’s a great deck box and the price can’t be beat. This outdoor resin storage bench is an excellent addition to any patio or poolside setup. Finding backyard furniture that successfully balances aesthetics with heavy-duty utility can be tough, but this piece nails it by serving as both a comfortable bench and a spacious deck box. What I Love: Dual Functionality: It provides extra seating while completely hiding away pool toys, towels, or patio cushions, keeping the deck looking entirely clutter-free. Smart Engineering: Looking inside, the lid features a heavy-duty grid reinforcement. This design ensures it won't sag or warp when guests actually sit on it. Weather-Resistant Build: The faux-wicker texture gives it a stylish, classic look, but because it’s made of durable resin, it won't rot, rust, or unravel under the sun and rain. Security: The front loop latch is a welcome feature, allowing you to easily add a padlock to keep your gear secure overnight. A Quick Note: Because it is made of molded plastic, it's relatively lightweight when empty. I’d recommend throwing your heavier items at the bottom first to anchor it down against strong backyard winds. Absolutely the worst. I have built kitchens, decks and additions. But this piece of junk is impossible to assemble as directed. The material is so flimsy that one cannot get all ten mortises to line up with the ten tenons at the same time. Putting pressure on the joint to set the tenon causes the piece to break. And there is no cost effective way to return it. I will never try Wayfair again.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 16 2026
