This 81 year old grandmother snapped this thing together in record time ( easy instructions), stuffed three large chaise cushions inside and escaped the torrential downpour that followed. This was one of the easiest items that Ive ever put together! It was so easy that the setup did not require any tools whatsoever, which is always a plus. The items are engraved with labels for easy identification, and everything is just push-and-clip. After pushing together pieces, the quality of the storage product is good, as it is made of some sort of plastic-feeling material. The color is great I absolutely love it. The deck box is the perfect box for my needs, I got the 50 gallon box. The box is made of resin, it’s waterproof and can be locked. I’m having trouble writing this review. I thought for sure I had submitted it twice. Here goes and hopefully number three is a charm. I love the deck box. It’s sleek contemporary sturdy. I appreciate the hydraulic lift, but I have found it important to close it applying the pressure directly in the middle. I have not tested the lock, but I’m grateful for that, as I will be storing some valuable items in it while outside. I lost my large shed last month, so this is a lifesaver for me! It seats 2 to 3 people comfortably. With a sleek design, it would nicely fit behind a sofa, under a stairway or even delineate an area. I plan to place it out on my large patio to store cushions a small tool kit and anything else that needs to get put away to avoid clutter. I am planning on using it to store my gazebo canopy this coming winter. All in all, it’s a great deck box and the price can’t be beat.
