Assembly was a snap (literally) until you reach snapping E into B. Not sure if my unit had a bent piece, but I had to end up using a hammer a mallet and pull panel B back to snap E into B. This part was very frustrating and it took me longer than it should have but eventually, I figured it out hence minus one star. Assembly of this bench requires absolutely no tools as it completely snaps together. We did use a soft mallet to tap the pieces in place. It takes two people to hold pieces in place while you’re snapping them. Don’t try to assemble this by yourself. I’m not sure how waterproof it is because I am keeping it under a covered patio. The directions were awful. The parts are labeled, but the lettering was black on black so it took us over 10 minutes just to locate the black lettering on black. First off let me say it took 2 of us to put it together. Was very easy. About 45 minutes. It is a nice storage bin. Not as sturdy and strong as I thought it would be. We’ll see how it holds up outside and in the rain and snow. It does have a few slight openings between the slats. Hoping the rain doesn’t get in. This was one of the easiest items that Ive ever put together! It was so easy that the setup did not require any tools whatsoever, which is always a plus. The items are engraved with labels for easy identification, and everything is just push-and-clip. After pushing together pieces, the quality of the storage product is good, as it is made of some sort of plastic-feeling material. The color is great I absolutely love it. After rainfall, it seemed to have prevented water from coming in, and am very happy about this. Lots of storage is included with this 92 gallon unit. Definitely would recommend this product. Very sturdy deck box. It took about 30 minutes to build. The only part that was difficult was some of the pieces required a lot of strength to push together until they snapped.
