These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly). Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces.
