This is the most passionate review I will ever write about a piece of furniture. If i could rate this a 3.5 I would. First of all, it's the most adorable shed I've ever seen and I'm so proud to call it mine. However, building this thing was like what I imagine giving birth is like. It took my husband and I around 5 hours to build over three days in addition to needing to borrow a drill to finish the job. The wood is thin, and dents easy, and to top it all off the whole thing was covered in shards of fiberglass upon unboxing the two packages, meaning we had to wipe the entrance to our house down and build the thing outside. It requires two people to assemble and between the lack of useful directions and less than helpful (or missing) predrilled holes, it was a battle. But I love it. Thank god it's over... Sara. Patience is a virtue - I was able to put this shed together by myself in about 10 hours. Picture instructions were 90% adequate however there were some steps I had to really focus on the drawings to determine where the pieces fit - inside/outside position grooves. Some of the screw instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. Definitely use a drill to help screws go in cleanly and keep closer to the outer edges to ensure screws actually go into walls. Having a second pair of hands during the wall & roof installation would have been less taxing physically. Screws for door hinges have no spares and as 2 of the 24 provided did not fit really well and I ended up stripping one of them and the other was only able to tighten half way I would have like the floor to be a bit firmer than it is. And the sizing is more 4.5 ft x 2.5 ft which was a bit of let down as I wanted to fit my current shelving units on both sides. I also would have liked a middle roof bracket to give it more stability for the door opening, plus I think it would have helped make the roof installation a bit easier.. Christine. North Saanich, BC. This is a nice shed…after the hundreds of tiny bolts and nuts! Yes it sucked peeling all the plastic covering off, but if it hadn’t been on there, there would have been scratches in the paint. I was expecting that part. My fingers were not prepared for all the nuts and bolts! Other than that, it’s sturdy enough once it’s finally done. We live in a rural area so secured it to our fence also so that it didn’t get knocked over from the fierce winds we get here. We also set it on 16” square pavers to keep it from sitting in the dirt. Overall, for the price point, it’s a great little garden shed where I can keep all my gardening stuff in one place and not have to wonder where my husband has it this time LOL. Jen. Good shed for the price. Instructions are a little difficult to decifer but it is doable. Be very careful to make sure both sides are square while putting the roof panels together.
