I couldn’t be happier with this pergola and shutter wall system. The quality of the aluminum is excellent, everything feels solid, and once it’s anchored to concrete, the structure is extremely sturdy. I installed the pergola and fixed shutter wall myself, and while it takes time and patience, the instructions were clear and all of the parts fit together well. The shutter wall adds a lot of privacy without making the space feel closed in, and it gives the pergola a clean, modern look. The charcoal finish looks even better in person than it does in the pictures, and the louvers operate smoothly. I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. LOVE THIS PERGOLA - We needed something that kept the sun off our outdoor kitchen in central Florida. We lifted it by about 18 inches so it would be above our door by using flower boxes and filled with concrete. It actually makes the pergola more comfortable by raising it. The gutters work well in the heavy down pours known in Florida. The higher wind tolerance was a huge selling point for us. We couldnt be happier.
