This was even better looking than I thought it would be. It looks beautiful. However, customers should know that there is no opening for a diverter hose from a downspout. And there are no instructions for setting up other than the spigots. It seems like it is designed to just sit anywhere and gather rain, which would take forever. One does have to be careful though, because it is plastic it can break if it potentially falls. However it is pretty strong and well built. It holds quite a bit actually and if you have a smaller garden this should be good. If you have a bigger one maybe 2 or 3 of these should be sufficient. There are two round cut outs near the top at the back of the rain barrel and I assume that’s for venting air as the barrel fills as well as when water is dispensed. Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances. The automatic diverters are made from upcycled vinyl fence post covers and attach directly to our rain barrels via an attachment hose. Universal size automatic rain water diverter to fit either a 2" x 3" or 3" x 4" downspout. Barrel will fill when empty. Once barrel is full the rainwater will be diverted back to the original downspout automatically. 12" Hose is provided.
