One does have to be careful though, because it is plastic it can break if it potentially falls. However it is pretty strong and well built. It holds quite a bit actually and if you have a smaller garden this should be good. If you have a bigger one maybe 2 or 3 of these should be sufficient. I have 9 rain barrels around the house and 2 275 gal. IBC totes to catch water for my garden. I bought this one for the front of the house. It looks nice and has held up well in the southern heat.
