We purchased an unfinished Haelynn solid wood 2-door corner cabinet. The cabinet arrived sooner than expected and was well-packaged, so there was no damage. This pine cabinet has soft-close hinges. The right door has a strip that eliminates a gap when the doors are closed (close the right door first). The top is made of strips of wood pieced together but looks good. To finish, we sanded with 180 grit sandpaper, then applied wood conditioner, golden oak Minwax stain, four coats of Minwax warm satin polyurethane with a brush, then finished with one coat of wipe-on poly, sanding with 320 grit sandpaper between coats of poly. Nice cabinet, the reviews were right some screws like the ones for the door pulls...WAY TOO SHORT - I got them to screw in but honestly another 3/16" wouldn't have bankrupted to manufacture! Also the "tabs"? on the back I'm guessing to provide some type of rigidity I just completely bypassed as the screws (used for door hinges) were too small and speaking of door hinges they could have started the holes for the 24 screws that all needed to be started prior to attaching the hinge.. I found the hardest part was getting the screws with the Allen wrench into the feet. It did take me almost 4 hours to put together, and one trip to the hardware store after I stripped the screw, but it does look great. The quality seems pretty good too. It is a perfect match to a beechwood table I have, the color, and the turned trim complements the turned table legs I have a set of Patnode chairs rom Wayfair, in buttermilk with cherry seats, and this look nice with those two. Unfortunately, it did come with damage, but it is fixable, a ding on front, cracked at one corner, uneven fish. They don't really stand out unless you are looking at is closely. It is just the perfect fit, tucked away in a tight corner. I've been looking for just the right cabinet to put there. The fact it is an exact match to my table is a plus.
