Based on authentic oriental designs and using only the finest of wool, these hand-knotted rugs are truly timeless classics. These traditional styles reflect the classic patterns that have created the most beautiful of decors over the centuries.

I love the rug. I bought it for my bedroom and went with 10x14' and it looks terrific. The silver color changes sheen depending on the direction -- very sophisticated. Thank you!. Paul. CA. Thu Sep 25 2025

Soft and subtle wool-blend yarns, accented in a natural tweed blend create a welcoming and warm look and feel. Soft underfoot and reversible for twice the wear and tear this rug is perfect for any family room, bedroom, kitchen or foyer.

Now is your chance to own an authentic work of art. Skilled artisans have been producing fine carpets for centuries completely by hand. As modern technology progresses, however, such fine works of art are becoming rarer every day. Starting with the finest of hand-spun wool, each row of knotting is hand-tied to the warp strings on a loom with meticulous detail. Several steps of washing by hand add a rich patina and even more luster to the already soft wool. Once sheared by hand to a plush pile, each piece is then finished with a hand-whipped edge surging.

Absolutely love this rug. Online description and colors depicted in the online photo are exact.. Sarah. Arlington, TX. Fri Feb 16 2024

Make a room sit-up with these handcrafted, contemporary-style rugs. These modern designs coupled with the use of wool and viscose create an effect that is both soft and subtle with a pattern that shimmers in the light.

The colors are not as vibrant as in the picture. The rug sheds some and I'm having to vacuum every other day, hopefully, that will stop soon. That said, the rug is still perfect for my newly refreshed office. Although I'm using a pad as recommended, the rug is very thick that it really does not need it. Quite happy with the purchase!. Evelyn. Danville, CA. Mon Oct 10 2022

The beautiful tone of tone color striations and luxurious pile are the foundation of the rug. The rug is artfully handmade with a dense, yet soft rayon from bamboo silk pile and dyed with a fresh blend of tones to create the perfect accent to any decor. Simply elegant!

Absolute show stopper. Effervescent, soft durable rug. The sheen of the bamboo silk is elegant yet modest. Bamboo is also regenerative with very little resources so this is a somewhat sustainable product! (Ivory does reveal any dirt or dark fuzz, so I try to keep the animals off .). Shay. Atlanta, GA. Sun Dec 28 2025

The rug is meticulously hand-knotted designs that seem completely improvised. Woven of wool in India, these area rugs are inherently stain-water-fade resistant, and ultimately easy to care for while handling high traffic. The hand-drawn geometry and delightful asymmetry are reminiscent of the woven handiwork of various traveling cultures. Combines the integrity of a tribal heirloom with a fresh modern nomadic to fit today's aesthetic.

Great neutral wool rug.. Deanna. Annapolis, MD. Sun Sep 20 2026

Though its construction lends a touch of texture to your floors, it features a variety of coordinating colors that really make it pop. Best of all, it's reversible for versatility in your den or bedroom.

Elevate your space with this hand-knotted wool area rug, featuring a traditional-inspired Oushak design with soft floral and bordered motifs. Crafted in India from 100% New Zealand wool, it offers a luxuriously soft feel, lasting durability, and natural stain resistance. Like sun-baked ruins along the Mediterranean, the Sandstone Taupe rug exudes relaxed sophistication. A mellow taupe field sets the stage for watercolor washes of coral, aqua, and lavender—tones that feel both nostalgic and now. Painstakingly hand-knotted from hand-spun wool-viscose yarns, the rug marries centuries-old craftsmanship with a light-infused palette, promising to age as gracefully as the artifacts that inspired it.

Good quality construction. Very nice, soft colors, though the background taupe is somewhat darker than expected and there is more yellow/gold than expected, creating a warmer overall look. The weaving pattern has faded horizontal striping, similar to the very inexpensive rugs that are everywhere today, which makes it overpriced in my opinion. The dimensions are also off, not a lot, but enough that it doesn't work well in my space (9'1"x 11'9") but that length also includes a total of 3" of fringe which makes it too short for my room. It's hard enough to risk buying rugs online, but it's very frustrating when ACTUAL dimensions are not provided.. Patricia. Jacksonville, FL. Fri Jun 19 2026

Uniquely casual - this Bakke Hand-Knotted Wool Brown Area Rug combines tribal and Southwestern patterns in a combination of rustic and fashionable colors and motifs. Stylish with a rugged appeal, each rug is hand-knotted from 100% premium hand-spun wool.

Beautiful carpet, perfect colors and quality.. Jonni. Henderson, NV. Fri Jan 09 2026

If we could dream in soft and romantic colors we dream. The abrash rust and cyan create a sophisticated feminine color pallet. Organic floral medallions are surrounded by a strong border in these Oushak designs with a delightful color twist. Delicately hand-knotted in India its soft fringe brings a bohemian flavor to each rug. She's pretty but wool resilient enough to handle high-traffic areas.

Just finished rearranging the study and painting the desk. The old rug didn’t work w the chair that was swapped from the bedroom. The colors in the rug are perfect and were the same as seen on the website. It is absolutely perfect. It is the perfect weight as well.. Nancy. Denton, TX. Fri Jan 03 2025

This is a beautiful Hand Tufted Hand Made Oriental 100% Wool Rug.Story Behind the Art Originating as a protest against mass produced inferior factory products of the 19th century, the Arts and Crafts Movement favored originality and craftsmanship. William Morris, main proponent of the movement, emphasized the use of handcrafts over the use of machinery and introduced a new design sensibility that evoked nature in home interiors through furniture, upholstery, wallpaper and rugs with intricate intertwining fruit, flower, and foliage patterns. The popularity of Morris’s rug designs has endured to the current times and stands emblematic of Art & Crafts rugs with their simple, bold, informal design themes rooted in nature. Today, the Arts & Crafts rugs embrace a multitude of styles ranging from the Art Nouveau style (rug patterns with flowing, curvilinear lines and nature-inspired, floral designs), Mission-style as well as geometric patterns inspired by Native American designs, American Prairie style and Caucasian rugs (hand-knotted rugs made in a small, Middle-Eastern region called the Caucasus). Arts and Crafts Rugs' natural motifs and interesting color palette add to their versatility and enduring charm.

This rug is very thick and soft to the touch. It's feels great underneath bare feet. The weave is a bit less tight than I thought but the colors are beautiful and it's holding up well so far. We really like it!. Kristie. Sat Mar 15 2025

This carpet with an added pad is very comfortable to walk or sit on. The color are not persimmon as described in a review, but it is a well made nice carpet. I gave this carpet a review of 4 simply because I’m disappointed that item photos placed online are touched up by Wayfair. Hence a true likeness is not seen by the buyer, and the cost of returning a carpet is 73.00.. Jennifer. Rochester, MN. Sat Sep 16 2023
