I have not laid the rug yet and plan to do this weekend. It’s is a 9x12 rig so I am not sure how I would be able to wash it. This rug is beautiful. It’s much lighter than the stock photo which was good for me. The color is a muted bluegray with graywhite. It can hide dirt easily because of the pattern. This mat was folded and sealed carefully in heavy plastic. It was then enclosed in another bag. I appreciated the extra packing material because you never know with the weather. Overall it is a nice rug. It has a non slip backing. There is no strong odor.y only gripe is that because it was folded several times, it wont lay completely flat and the corners are turned up.
