this doggo bed is great, my large yellow lab loves it, it's sturdier than I thought it would be which is good, it's also really big, like almost double the size of the large, I haven't had to wash it yet but getting the cover on initially wasn't too hard so I'm pretty sure it will not be a problem.. My dog is 19 pounds and likes to stretch out so I am glad that I bought the large for his main bed. I have the medium bed as well for my office for him which is a smallish space so the medium works well. I think for a bed you should consider sizing up especially if your dog likes to stretch. measure your dog from nose to tale when stretched out to get the right size. I will buy a nother one for upstairs. They are a bit pricey but 100% worth it because of the low toxicity and quality.
