When I ordered this, the pictures were of a completely different coop, so it was a little misleading. However, once assembled I think this will still suit our needs. It is a very nice chicken coop. It is well made and easy to assemble. The color shown is the color of the actual product. It is very cute and looks great. It is easy to move around and I didn't have a concern that anything would be able to get in with my chickens and kill them. The reason I am giving 4 stars is that it is a very, very small coop. I moved and only had one chicken left. I wanted to take her with me because she is 11 years old and my new farm didn't have any kind of chicken coop area. I purchased this thinking it would be a great place for her live out her life. However, it is extremely small. I couldn't stand to see her in such a small area. I think it might be a great area for a couple of bunnies or if you need a place to put small chicks before you integrate them into an adult flock of chickens. I wish it was bigger because it is nicely constructed, easy to assemble and the colors worked for my farm. I will now just resell on Marketplace as I already have it all assembled and didn't want to try and repackage to send back. We didn’t trust that an animal couldn’t get them open, so we purchased stronger latches and replaced the original ones. For something designed to keep chickens safely enclosed, I think better and more secure latches should be included. There were also a couple of spots on the wood pieces for the perching areas where the holes had not been pre-drilled, so we had to drill those ourselves. Other than that, it’s a very nice coop. I bought this as a starter coop and I’m in love with it. The directions weren’t as detailed as I’d like. It’s not high quality at all but it’s fine for what I need. It’s also two identical coops so you do have to swap the sides of some boards if you want them both front facing but it was simple to do. My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens.
