It works and definitely has many positive aspects. Some of the wood is a little thinner than I'd like, but it seems to be holding solidly. The hen nests are great, and very easily accessed. So far I only have one grown hen in it, and she seems to really like it. I plan to add more. I think four will fit nicely, but five may be a little too crowded. I'm a 76 year old female, and I put it together alone. It did take a while, but was not too bad. :). Clarissa. Butler, GA. Sat Oct 03 2026

All joints are mortise and tenon, 2 x access doors for easily catching your pets. Come, model comes with a rear zinc pull-out tray for easy cleaning.

Great coop! Large and roomy! Easy to put together. The only two complaints are the latches for the doors are not the greatest. We ended up replacing them. We bought this for 8 Duccles. And the nesting boxes are small if you put the dividers in. It gives you 3 nesting boxes on both sides. But you can easily take out the dividers and just have one large nesting box on each side. I think a regular size chicken would find it difficult to nest with the dividers in. The wood seems to be good quality. I like the top screens for ventilation. It has two doors but we will only use the ramp door. I love it overall.. Tamara. College Station, TX. Wed Oct 21 2026

It was ok. Nice quality. I would recommend it.. Debra. Wapakoneta. Fri Sep 11 2026

Whether you’re rearranging the yard or providing shelter from the elements, this hen house keeps your poultry dry, comfortable, and secure. It is a little small for 4 chickens, but it arrived with no damage and was fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 of us less than hour. Didn't use the wheels as I am going to put it in one place and not move it around. To use as a tractor would definitely not be big enough for 4 chickens. Not sure how long it will last, but it does the job.. Russ George. Steamboat Springs, CO. Mon Jun 08 2026

This coop was really easy to assemble. Really easy. Which we appreciated. We are using this as a quarantine pen for two new chickens. It’s enough room for them, but definitely not others.. Susan. Peachtree Corners, GA. Tue Oct 20 2026

The large chicken coop comes with a chicken run and has two large nesting boxes. The chicken house has four perches with large removable sliding trays for easy cleaning. There are six access points for easy access to all areas of the coop. Features three ventilation windows in the sleeping area to keep it well ventilated. Galvanized wire mesh walls and a series of locks at each access point keep your family animals safe inside and from predators. Sliding door with steel sliding bar locks ducks safely inside the coop.

I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. It didn’t fit despite the online specifications saying it would.. Ashley. US. Tue Aug 11 2026

This is a great budget-friendly chicken coop for beginners. It is cute. It is lightweight. It has nesting boxes for six chickens. Assembly was not complicated, but you have to be careful using power tools. I cracked a piece using them. That being said, you don’t want to assembly it manually. There are a lot of long screws. The wood is very, very light, but my biggest complaint if I had to have one is the smell. I had to air out the pieces for days due to the off-gassing.. Veronica. Senoia, GA. Wed Apr 01 2026

Was easy enough to put together, alone. It's exactly as pictured. I bought it to give my 5 hens somewhere to stay warm this winter. I did not however stop to think about how large my hens are and they will only get bigger. I should have read specs closer and bought bigger. My hens are one of the biggest breeds. Went together very easily. Also easy to move around. I am using it for my chicks until they are big enough to go with my hens. Currently have 6 8-week old chicks in there and it’s a bit crowded. Be mindful if getting for large hens. I bought this Coop to turn it into a feral cat house with a lot of modifications. I am happy with the results. I insulated it with 1 in foam insulation board, made two levels two escape doors in an entrance. I screened all the windows and added all the plastic to the front so that I can roll it down when the weather gets cold and tack it to the frame to help keep them warm I put linoleum on the floor and added two heated dog pads. I painted the whole thing as there was no way this would be waterproof without it. I added tinted plastic corrugated roofing to cover the existing roof to protect it and also to make that more waterproof. If making modifications be careful cutting the boards because they are only attached at the edges of the frame. It took me a month to complete this but I am very happy with it. Two of my ferals have already been in and out of it several times. It is now ready for a cold winter.. Anonymous. Indiana, PA. Thu Oct 22 2026
