It held up well in the wash and the fabric is really soft. The sausage shaped parts fit well into the sleeves for them and the zippers are high quality. Pawsitively amazing dog bed! Was hesitant at first because I thought he would be too big, but at 112 pounds, he fits perfectly. He has minor hip discomfort and the extra padding seems to help a bit.
