I like these dogs ramps, and love that they came in a set of two. We have an older dog that has a hard time with the bottom step of our basement stairs, because it is higher than the other stairs. She also has a hard time getting started up the steps to our RV when camping and the ground is uneven. They were easy to put together and are lightweight and portable. I put some wood glue on the dowels and slots for the stairs, just a little extra stability, I’m sure without it is fine. Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use. I have a 7 year old boxer who has never been comfortable going into the pool…I spotted this and am thrilled with the idea of offering her this option. It shipped quickly and with no issues. Once the box is opened I found it wrapped in a great draw string bag which will be good for storage in between seasons. It is a heavy thick material that is definitely designed for dog pawsnails.
