My cats love these. We have two now, over for each cat, because the basket is their favorite part and they don't like to share. They are fairly easy to put together. I had a little bit of trouble orienting the process to the instruction booklet but that's a me-thing. It was missing one size of screw needed to securely fasten the center box. We were able to improvise with another screw. We have not had any problems; it's still very stable. Our cats use them several times a day. If you're looking for a good cat tree, look no further.. This cat tower is awesome. I was looking forward to putting this together but the husband beat me to it. It only took him a hours. This included a couple redos because, as others mentioned, the picture instructions are not straight forward. He also used better tools than the wrench it comes with. Much nicer than expected! We needed something higher up in our sunroom so that the cats could lounge without the dogs bugging them, and this was perfect! Fairly straightforward assembly, and pretty well thought out with the placement of parts and the inclusion of non-slip grip tape.
