I really like the new cat tree. Though the real test is how "The Boyz" will like it. For sure it is now Rocco & Rudie approved. Seems to be very sturdy even with these heavy weights. I'll probably put a few screws into the base into the floor. This way it will never tip. This is a nice, sturdy, hefty two leveled cat perch with a lot of surface area for big kitties or the ones that like to share space. Nice carpet, not the thin stuff. Supportive pillars. You’re likely not going to get splinters putting it together, but you may notice a few imperfections on edges appearing. If I had the time and was sufficiently motivated, I would have put some kind of sealant on the wood so it will not wear as quickly. Getting there Assembly was a challenge. Pieces were all there, but instructions leave some clarity to be desired. I powered through one stubborn turn of the Allen wrench at a time.
