This dog house exceeded my expectations. The material was lightweight but sturdy and resistant to leaks in the rain. The inside is spacious. Our medium sized dog (lab/pit bull mix that weighs 65 lbs) went in, laid down, and was sleep in 5 minutes--a sign that he was very comfortable in it. It was easy to assemble. We did it in 15 minutes. Lastly, I really like that the top opens so it's easy to put items inside, like the dog bed. The only thing I wish it had is a doggy door flap to help keep bugs and any small creatures out of it when it's outside and he's not in it. We'll likely add one. Otherwise, this was a perfect find!. Our dogs loved this box especially in the colder months. Assembly was not extremely difficult but took a little time to put together.
