This playpen has been a great addition for my puppy. It’s sturdy, looks nice, and was easy to set up. My pup is already getting comfortable in it and even tries to peek over the top, which is honestly pretty funny. I have had 2 of these for about 6 years now. They work fantastic for what we bought them for and they have been used for different breeds of pets over the years . The bottom was the only complaint I had . In all the pictures , it looks like a thick plastic , but ours came with metal bottoms with raised sides. It ended up working better when we housed rabbits in them since they couldn’t chew it up , but if you are using it for a puppy , make sure there is an absorbent liner in place. Also , as someone mentioned , the bars are a little weak if you have a determined puppy or dog . Very sturdy and very easy to put together! It’s also very heavy, so you won’t be moving it around easily after it’s assembled, but it is easy to take it apart if you want to move it. I love that it comes with 2 gates (plus 14 panels)! We got the pen that is 40 inches tall because our new rabbit was jumping out of our old 30-inch pen. My only complaint is that each gate has 2 latches so the gates are impossible to open with one hand, so I tied a string to the latches (there is a metal loop on top of each latch) so that I just have to pull up the string with one hand to open both latches on one gate at the same time.. This 12 panel pen, was extremely easy to assemble, but it was a bit heavy and hard for me to move the box by myself. It’s all metal, has a door for easy access. Each panel is connected with a stake which allows many different configurations. We have 4 adult boxers and as you can see there is ample room for all of them. This is a very pretty alternative to the traditional metal dog crate. It arrived in perfect condition (no chipped corners or dings, that others mentioned) and my husband had it together in less than an hour. It does have a yellowish tinge to it(not as white as the photos suggest), but we were ok with it. Our 50lb hound/shepherd mix puppy has ample space to stand and stretch out. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because, I think with a little time and boredom, she would easily be able to chew or dig her way out of this. We are using it only as a sleeping crate in our bedroom, so I am not worried about that. But I wouldn't put her in this and then leave the house. Love it! It looks so much nicer than our old wire kennel. Our dog is 60 lb (shepherd but on the shorter side) and our other 25 lb and they can both cuddle in it. I would not recommend for any bigger of a dog unless you are not going to put the bottoms in the drawersare not going to put the drawers in.
