Wasn’t hard to build if you have any knowledge of cabinet construction. Generally looks nicer than comparable units because of the raised face door and drawers. The description says for small dog but my dog is a medium dog and has plenty of space. I had to look at the measurements before buying to make sure he would be okay in there because the description says for a small dog. Overall it’s great, I do just wish that the gates for the dog were more heavy and sturdy because if my dog really wanted to he could probably break through it. The back board is also flimsy so I wish it was a sturdier material since it’s for a dog. That’s the only reason for a 4 star because if my dog truly wanted to break out I don’t doubt that he could. He is a small dog so this should be fine for him but it wouldn’t work with medium and large dogs. Also, if your dog is strong it might not hold them. Great little kennel! The only thing I’d change is that there’s no kind of bottom where the kennel part is. It would be nice for there to be a tray or sleek bottom for easy clean out.
