I've been looking at this model for about 4 months. I found the best price on Wayfair. I decided to go for the highest height for my maltipoo to see out of my sliding doors and over the balcony. Shes not comfortable coming down the steps yet but has walked away from me when I tried to take her down letting me know she enjoys it. I put her regular bed underneath, and plenty of room to throw her toys under the steps. Sturdy but not too heavy for me to carry up 5 flights up steps to my apartment. I bought the 6-step ramp because we have a very high bed, and we wanted our dog to get used to using this before he gets to a point when jumping up and down will be difficult. This seems to be a very high quality item. Though it comes with no assembly instructions, we were able to figure it out easily enough. I was worried my beagle would tear it apart the way he has ruined other pillows and beds with foam inserts, this does not seem to have an offensive smell. Has helped with getting my dogs on and off the bed without them hurting themselves by jumping off. We had to teach them how to use the stairs as they had never used them before so that took a little while, but eventually they got the hang of it. The only con of these stairs is that they’re a little wobbly and don’t have much hold on the back other than placing them against the bed.
