I ordered 2 of these cat trees as replacements for my tribe. At first sight, I didn’t think they were going to be the right size as the box they arrived in was small and I have large cats. Upon opening, we found the product was only meticulously packed and everything looked fine. Even though my cats seem to love their new trees, I question the durability of this product. It seems as if the boards and posts are quite thin and that concerns me. I’m not saying they are cheaply made, but I do remember having several more durable cat trees over the years. Only time and use will determine the quality of this product. The material on this tree is extremely thin and I’m sure it will meet its demise before it’s time. I hope I am mistaken and they will last for a while though. Only time will tell. The trees DO although have many levels to perch in and two large cubbies where they can hide or sleep. These cubbies are actually pretty large and my cats are very comfortable in them. The price point was great as I was able to catch them on sale. Beautiful cat tree, and my cat has grown to love it! He’s 7yo and about 14 pounds. I had two concerns while purchasing 1) how hard would it be to put together and 2) how sturdy would it be. It was relatively easy to put together with well marked parts and photo instructions. It has a very wide square base so I’m not longer worried about it tipping however, when my cat gets to the very top basket and is moving around it appears to shake quite a bit - enough to make me a little nervous. All the parts are sturdy and after 2 months of having it, I can confirm that it hasn’t tipped at all. I love this cat tree.
