Sharp claws meet their match. Your sofa gets a free pass. This 18-inch scratching post gives your cat two reasons to ignore the furniture: tightly wound natural sisal rope for a satisfying scratch, and built-in toys for the swatting, pouncing, and batting that follow. Two hanging balls dangle from the top, while a ball track circles the base—your cat can jump, sit, or sprawl out and still find something to chase. The base is carpeted and weighted to stay planted when a kitten launches at it full speed, and the plush fabric wrapping adds grip so the post doesn't slide mid-scratch. Assembly is two posts into one base, screws included, instructions in the box. One person, five minutes, one happy cat.

Good quality, sizing is more appropriate for a kitten. Anonymous. US. Thu May 14 2026

I didn’t have a scratching post in my home and I wanted something to deter my cats from scratching up my couches so much. Assembly was easy and my cats gravitated to it immediately. The only thing I dislike is the sratching surface isn’t built in and you have to wrap it around and then connect it with Velcro. So I find myself having to position it a lot after my cats use it.. I got this for a friend of mine that volunteers at an animal shelter. All the little kitties love it so much and are having a great time with it.
