This cat feeder is very nice because it is simple to program, you can feed two cats at the same time so they don't have to wait for the other one to finish eating it all and then miss out on their own meal. I liked the fact that it only has one dial which in the beginnings seemed like it would be problematic but it is actually quite intuitive to go through and either change the existing feeding times or portion sizes or add or remove some of them.. Ive been using this for a few weeks and so far so good. Its been an adjustment for the cats because the motor scares them a little. But theyve come around one by one. The set up was very easy. I love how open it is. I kind of wish this one came with the step. Im not sure if the cats would use it, though. I already have one, and it has the front opening. My cats are both good size. This ones a little bit easier. I think for cats to go in and out of. Im not sure how long the bottom piece will last as it seems to be more material than hard plastic. I have had this now for about a month and I love it. I plan on getting another one and replacing the other one as they use this one most often. The other is the typical small opening and the waste draw is small and always needs to be adjusted as nothing falls forward and I can't find the right size bags, no company to order supplies from.. This automatic cat feeder is a winner to our cat Winx. 4 stars instead of 5 because the top is hard to get on. The feeder is bent from shipping (see photo) , so you have to push it out some to get the top to fit correctly. Know this feeder is automatic due to gravity, there is no mechanical part releasing food for your cat. I love that there are 3 sections for his wet food, dry food, and fresh water.
