Got these for an inside space to visually separate a large room with a designated living space separate from the bedroom space. the pattern both makes it stylish and also allows filtered light to get through to the whole room. Anonymous. US. Fri Jun 19 2026

I bought these to convert to summer window screens on my 1958 house in Albuquerque, NM. In the summer, the morning sun hits my back windows directly and puts a lot of heat into the house (and I don't want to replace the original steel window frames). I cut the feet off of the screens and made brackets from 1.5" aluminum angle to attach to the window trim, plus legs to support the weight. The screens are very heavy, and the plastic geometric sections are fairly thick, which is nice. The frame is sturdy and the black finish is durable. Although the description says that these can't be painted, Rustoleum 2X seemed to adhere after scuffing the surface with a Scotchbrite pad and acetone. (We'll have to see how it holds up over the summer.) My only issue with these is that the panels bow in the sun. These are made in Canada, so maybe they're designed for Canadian sun and not the high desert. :) It could be exacerbated by the fact that I have the frame horizontal, but the panels were bowing when I had them individually upright to spray paint. I would have tried the steel ones but was less confident that I'd be able to get the rust off for a clean painting surface. It would be great if these were offered in a primed steel option for painting. Overall I'd say these are pretty nice, but would work better in a shaded area, or go with the metal version.. James. Pros= Absolutely stunning!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Perfect for what I was looking for. A little bit of a barrier from our neighbors not so fishbowl vibe when sitting outside without obstructing the view of the lake or a harsh fence (unable to do so with HOA rules). It is so beautiful It has elevated my patio. I just bought more to add to my other side that doesn't even need a barrier just to add the beautiful look of these. Cons=Yes they come with a stand. However, in order for these to be left up outside and not have any fears of hurting anyone (they are heavy) they do need placement of additional support. If your placing under a covered patio should be just fine with sandbags/planters etc for added weight, however, we had ours freestanding out in the element there was absolutely no way my hubby was ok with that solution. We added the wood frame, (which honestly I think made these go from nice to breathtaking) attached it to one side of the house, and secured it to a cement bench we had, to the other side, that baby is not going anywhere. We did have to pick up a few additional supplies. My hubby is handy so the additional setup wasn't a big deal for us just something to think about.. Angie. Shelton, WA. Fri Dec 02 2022

Love it as a side panel mounted vertically from the ground up. It acts as a “wall” for our outdoor shower and hides the sprinkler valves that are next to the shower.. Linda. Laguna Niguel, CA. Fri Apr 28 2023

we bought these to enclose a front yard area. i love the starburst pattern! these provide the perfect amount of privacy while letting us still peek out through the panels. they arrive in a silver steel color and we let ours rust from the elements because that final orange-y color was what we were going for in the end with our project. they turned orange pretty quickly but will leave an orange mark if you leave them against something light colored while they go through the process (steel silver to orange rust). we bought a couple more panels when our project idea changed and they came quickly and well packaged. there is a vinyl product like this for sale in white and black (i think?) from wayfair but we are in the sub-tropical desert in arizona (outside phoenix) and needed something that could stand up to the dry heat, blistering summer sun and the sub-tropical moisture. we had an extra panel left over so we turned it vertically and installed it on the other side of the house to conceal the trash cans. love these panels, highly recommend!. This screen worked perfectly to give us privacy from our nosy neighbor. These panels are thick steel and have lasted for almost seven years out in the elements. We zip-tied some privacy shrubbery tiles to the screen for a pleasing and more private look. Would highly recommend.. Tony. Chicago, IL. Mon Apr 27 2026

Very happy with this product, attractive and well built. Provides a little privacy break from our neighbor without being obtrusive. If using it in a very windy area suggest using stakes (not provided), or as we did put planters on the legs to weigh it down. Was a little damaged but worked with Wafair for a discount rather than the bother of returning a large product that I had already put together.. Anonymous. Wed Jul 24 2024

We originally bought 3 of these panels which were METAL, which we love. 2 years later we wanted 4 more panels, but the metal panels were no longer available. In order to keep a consistent and continuous look in the yard we bought 4 plastic panels since the metal ones were no longer available. We will see how well the plastic ones last.. Linda.
