We have 2 gas meters that were low to the ground. We planted 3 evergreens to hide them as a screen. This spring the gas company replaced the meters and raised them 6 inches. Not waiting for plants to grow another 6 inches. We set the palm screen behind evergreens in front of meters. Pretty design. We ordered two, and one was bent in the middle, so we were asked to return it. Then the replacement arrived, but oddly had a different finish to the paint, so 4 stars. The first one was semi-gloss black, and the replacement was a flat matte black. Why change the paint finish and not check what had been previously sent so they match? Pretty good product. The posts are real durable too. They really look good installed. There aren't any black lag bolts , or washers for the posts for wood install! I was missing 2 post plugs due to the lag bolts puncturing a hole in the zip lock bag though.. Tom. CO. Mon Jul 20 2026

These posts are built really durable. They only come with concrete anchor lags though, not wood lags. I'm mounting these to the top of my deck 2x6 rail. They should give you an option on lags. I was missing 2 post plugs though. The anchors ripped a hole in the ziplock bag and they must have fallen out, but they weren't in the box. Great product though!. Tom. CO. Thu Jul 16 2026
