I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. I compared these from many places and decided to buy from Wayfair because of cost, and Ive bought from Wayfair many times before (and have had hot and miss experiences, but if I actually get the item, it has been fine). They are nice looking and fairly sturdy, although they fell over in a windstorm, despite the metal stakes that come with them. The biggest problem is that I think the reddish brown color just does not exist. I got what looks like the brown color. The boxes say reddish brown, but that is clearly not what they are. I saw reviews elsewhere that said the same thing. I paid more for the color I wanted and didnt get it. You will receive unassembled materials for 3 screens and please allow around 90 minutes to build the unit. This screen is freestanding, simply assemble the unit and place it around your air conditioning unit. It’s absolutely beautiful. It can be designed two ways. We decided on horizontal design. . If you choose this design you will have extra screws left over. The screen is metal and very sturdy.
