This Gazebo is beautiful and sturdy, but unfortunately it came with some scratches and little dents on the poles. The company should think about better wrapping to protect all the pieces. Takes a long time to put together. At least 2 people required, but 3 helped to get the next steps ready for the 2 putting together. Update- Feb 2023. This gazebo does not hold up To snow Load. The edges fall Apart when removing the snow from the roof. Very disappointed! I hired someone to put this up on our deck. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a smaller hot tub that doesnt have nay natrual light over head and this was the most amazing fit and is absolutley stunning. This is a larger undertaking than building a dresser but with the right tools anyone can do it. I personally had to poor a concreete slab for the hottub. for the Gazebo itself it took me the weekend to install it with my brothers help. def a 2 man job and I wouldnt expect to instlal it by yourself. Im writing this on vacation so I will have to get a pic when I get home and edit my review later. But IO highly reccomend this to anyone that needs some shade from the sun and has a yard to fit it.. I really like the look of it, but a couple of the roof panels are slightly dinted from manufacturer because there was no external damage to the boxes. I love the look of this gazebo. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. My husband was able to assemble it by himself. We checked and rechecked the finished product with the instructions to make sure it was properly assembled. The only things I was not happy about is one of the chair backs is not stretched tight and droops a little and for some reason one chair was too close to the upright pole in the corner and was rubbing against it when you glide backwards in the seat. My husband was able to adjust it just enough to barely miss the pole and we're hoping it doesn't misalign after sitting in it through the summer. UPDATE: the gazebo only leaked that first time the day after it was built. I think the roof panels were a bit warped from shipping and straightened out over time. Now it doesn’t leak at all and is exactly what I hoped for. Very disappointed. It was delivered 10 days late and leaks. Easy to put together and looks gorgeous but leaks everywhere when it rains. It is on a flat surface and was installed correctly. I plan on getting rubber gaskets to put the screws in that attach the roof pieces and hopefully that helps. I drink coffee here in the mornings, and we occasionally eat dinner here. There is plenty of space for friends to socialize, and everyone has complimented my new gazebo. Right now, my wife and I are enjoying a glass of wine while sitting here on a perfect evening and watching the sunset. I'm so glad I got it! I can't say much about the assembly because I had it done by someone else. I believe I could have if I had more time in my life. I can say it took about 6 hours for two guys who do this for a living. We had it bolted to the concrete patio with wedge anchors, and it appears to be very secure. We've had some pretty severe thunderstorms recently, and I'm not concerned about this thing moving. I purchased an outdoor fan that hangs nicely from the ceiling hook. Someone else said they put up some screening and used magnets to keep it in place around the part of the roof that raises up. I purchased some screen but have yet to put it to use. Now that we have this gazebo up, which we enjoy, we occasionally work outside when we work from home. Having that option is wonderful. With the help of a lovely outdoor rug and some lovely outdoor furniture, we were able to make the gazebo quite comfortable. In order to hang out there at night, we also installed lighting. We enjoy entertaining as well, and this is always a hit at get-togethers and barbecues. Bought this gazebo last year. Used it for approximately 4-5 months then removed the cloth roof for the winter at which time it seemed to have gotten brittle. Upon reinstalling it on the gazebo, it very easily ripped. We only got 4-5 months use out of the cloth roof and the company would not back this product. They said it was normal after being out in the sun. We have had other gazebos and got 3-5 YEARS out of them before replacing. The frame itself is the best we have ever had. Great quality and easy assembly. I am a 58 year old woman, and except for the part requiring two people,I have been putting it together by myself. Taking my time, at my own pace, will be done in a couple of days. All parts are separately wrapped by group, and marked. All screws, caps are well packaged and marked. The instruction book has so far been the best I have ever had to work with. No written instructions, only pictures of the assembly along with the parts number used for that section. Very impressive, good quality, great packaging and timely deliver. I’m thinking of buying another to replace an old pergola. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Sojag gazebo. I love the total protection provided by the superior-quality mosquito netting curtains. Mosquitoes are not my friends. The color is elegant grey and black. This gazebo is going to look incredible when I get it done. We have had some rain and needing to stain our deck, it has taken some time to get it in. The instructions that come with it our basically pictures which if you are like me, and can't put things together without a good explanation, this might be a challenge for you.
