I really liked this pergola. We needed some extra shade for our goat pen to provide extra shade and it works perfect. We did switch out the bungees that were included to a stronger bungee due to the high winds we have and they fit great. Easy to install and it took my husband and I about an hour to install. Instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were properly labeled. We also used flower pots and cemented the legs in them to provide extra weight. Assembly takes a while! Removing the Saran Wrap from the roofing panels is tedious and ridiculous. Once completely assembled I will update this review with my thoughts. Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. At first I was super upset when I got my packages. They were not handled as written on the box and had several puncture marks on them. I realize this isn’t a fault of Wayfair but they should be aware of the condition of packaging. All of my packages were delivered standing upright instead of flat. Despite a piece of wood being bent and the roof tin having a few dents it still went to together just fine. I did it myself, female. It took me 3 total days. Half a day to organize things and almost 2 12 to build it. No regrets at all. Just pay CLOSE attention to directions as you go so you don’t have to go back and fix anything. I made sure I wouldn’t have to. Good luck! No leaks or anything so far. Will have to be cautious in winter as ice will probably slide right off. Overall very happy with the results!. Jill. Kentucky. I love my new gazebo!! It is beautiful and very elegant. It seems a little complicated to put together but it’s really not all you need is a little patience and the instructions. The manual says 4-5 people needed but in our case 2 seniors (hubby I) did it all by ourselves. Because of bad weather it took us 2 afternoons to assemble but it can be done in one. Meanwhile, the double roof gazebo also ensures good ventilation and the spacious 12' x 14' space can also accommodate 5-7 people comfortably in the gazebo at the same time.

I absolutely love this mosquito netting. We have high winds all the time and needed netting that was heavier than normal. We tried other brands but the netting would just whip so bad it would catch on our chairs. This still blows in the wind which they all do but has never hooked on our chairs. This brand is heavy duty like the original factory set that came with our gazebo. We have a Sojag Messina 10x12 and this netting fit like it was factory made. Our original factory lasted 5 years so only time will tell. Definitely worth the higher price point over the 40-60 sets you get elsewhere. Going to order a second set as back up as heavy duty quality netting like this is hard to find. Only drawback was that the zippers and tiebacks were brown and not black but not a deal breaker.. Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts.
