I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. However, we have had it standing in our deck for a few months now, and it holds up very well to rain and strong winds. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood. The quality of this "iron" gazebo is pretty disappointing. It feels like aluminum and the panels are plastic and are scratched looking put of the box. There is discoloration on one of the panels. Maybe from being in the sun? I am not sure exactly it appears whiteish on the gray panel. Not great since it is meant to be outside. Some of the parts that are metal are bent and scratched. The assembly instructions are awful as well. I have an event in a few days that I purchased this for so hopefully it will come together and not look absolutely cheap and rickety once it is fully assembled. The structure is light weight and while it seems strong enough, it wobbles easily. Adding some diagonal bracing would fix this issue. The other concern I have is how flimsy the tarp is. We couldn’t be more excited to have added this to outlets outdoor living space it butted up against the side of our garage perfectly and we have placed some outdoor furniture under it for the rainy days we can still enjoy the outdoors! It was quite the project for 1 person to build it recommended 3 people I suggest you have atleat 2 ! My husband put it up himself in about 4 hours time using a ladder for the second person and thankfully it came together with out any issues! I love the top panels as the still allow ligh to come through but a bit worries how it will stand up to the winter snow only time will tell but for now we will enjoy this all fall!
