Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend.. This umbrella was a bit of a challenge at first. The holes to put screws in had some of the finish paint in the grooves and the screws wouldn’t go in. My handy partner used some solvent to dissolve and remove that and we got them in. The directions left a lot to be desired - there were things in the diagram that weren’t clear or well explained (like, it matters which way you connect the pieces in the end, and with four chances to be right we were wrong). And things in the box which weren’t in the diagram so we had to figure it out. But after all that, it’s a big sturdy umbrella that looks really durable. we really like that it has a cover, but of course once the umbrella is, you can get the cover on it. We managed to get it on while it was upright, using a broom handle. Lol. I’ve seen some that have a rigid sewn into it to make it easier to use, and, that would be a nice feature to add to having a cover. I think we’re gonna get a lot of years of use out of it, at least I hope so.. Eileen. Troy, NY. Sun May 05 2024

Good umbrella but would not rotate. Took the rotating assembly apart to find no lubrication and it’s so tight that the bearings made a dimple in the aluminum base. The fix was to completely take it apart the rotating assembly. The screws are extremely tight and thread sealed in, so they won’t come loose on their own. It is very difficult to loosen the screws. Once it was apart, I greased the entire thing reassembled it and tighten the bolts, without over tightening it so the base would rotate. I also put thread locker back on the bolts so they would not come loose in the future . I purchased two of these umbrellas and they were both the same way. Dis umbrella will not rotate from the box and has to be fixed before it can be used. Will update on longevity as I have just installed them today. . Anonymous. Wed Jul 09 2025
