We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. A very nice umbrella! We really like the navy color and the frame is sturdy. Make sure to purchase the correct base. The raising and lowering works smoothly. If you need to pivot the umbrella, you just move the handle into the pivoting gears and that also works so smoothly. I do want to give a shut out to both Wayfair and the business because the first one arrived in a mangled box, and the ribs of the umbrella were bent badly. I am going to give it a 4 star from what I have but unfortunately I only received the unbrella and the base cover. The bolts and crank and the base plate which are needed to actually assemble were not in the package. Wayfair is fantastic and are sending the missing items but I am still waiting for them to arrive. Please note the base for the umbrella is not included and must be purchased sep from the umbrella. The fabric is a nice quality and I think it will be great once the other parts arrive!. Nicole.
