This round swing set rubber mat is made from a combination of vulcanized and natural rubber materials. Since both raw ingredients are of the highest quality, this under swing mat will exhibit excellent durability when used indoors or outdoors. Being a vulcanized (vulcanization is a process of cross-linking rubber molecules chemically) rubber product, this rubber mat will not shed or crumb up. It is a one-piece molded circular rubber floor mat. This playground swing mat is 9mm thick (just under 3/8-inch which is 9.5mm) and the diameter of the rubber part is 4 feet or 48-inches. This is a low maintenance product that is very easy to clean with most household tools and cleaning agents. For best results, simply use a wet cloth or mop along with simple commercial cleaning soap. Please do not use caustic cleaning agents such as bleach. The 48-inch diameter rubber swing mats is engineered from elastic and flexible rubber materials. Being water resistant, it will keep moisture off the surface off of your playground floor and will protect the areas that receive a lot of scraping and damage. By using an affordable rubber mat, you can improve the life of your playground floors and the aesthetic appeal of your playground, especially in problem areas that get a lot of abrasions. In general, rubber is the superior choice for outdoor use when compared to other materials, especially when the rubber mat is from natural rubber materials. While wood rots and splinters in the rain, rubber mats can withstand severe weather conditions, even snow. In addition, rubber will resist UV light and is durable, watertight, and fade resistant. This rubber mat is waterproof and when moisture or liquids are left on the surface, they will not get through to the bottom. This will protect your subfloors from the damaging effects of water. This rubber swing set landing mat is an affordable way to protect your precious investments. This is the mat to put under a swing set when you need a focal point and to mark a landing spot.

These 5mm thick outdoor mats for under slide areas in a playground are in sizes. They are all in rectangular sizes of: 35” x 31” – (6.5lbs). Depending on the size of the area you want covered, the three options will offer an effective layer that is easy to install or remove due to their light weight. The rubber mat for bottom of slide areas is made from materials that are UV and weather resistant. Since these rubber mats are made from reclaimed and natural rubber products, they offer the maximum protection from these elements that a rubber product can offer. Playground slide mats are made for the landing area in a commercial playground. Since the landing area of a slide is commonly subject to wear and tear, a rubber slide mat will add a coating of protection in these areas. This surface protection for the end of a slide run is necessary since oncoming foot traffic is coming towards the landing area with speed and will cause extra abrasion to the surface of the playground’s floor. If your playground surfacing is made out of rubber tiles or pour-in-place rubber, the cost of repairs far exceeds the cost of a very cost-effective rubber slide mat. Moreover, the slide’s landing area could have already suffered some damage and in that case covering it up with a rubber mat will make the floors aesthetically more pleasing and reduce any further damage. Under the slide rubber mats also mark the landing location and allow others in the playground to notice where to avoid. Having foot-traffic enter the area that the slide’s run will end can be a safety concern and having a proper rubber mat that marks the location will help in identifying this. These rubber mats for the bottom of slides are also water resistant and that helps in diverting moisture away from the base of slides. Excess moisture and possible puddles at the bottom of slides areas can be a cleanliness concern for those who use the play area. Having a rubber mat there will help alleviate some of these concerns. Since these rubber mats are water resistant, they are also very easy to clean with soap, water and other non-corrosive households cleaners.
