The pergola is a good purchase. Especially for the process point. It comes packaged well and the instructions are excellent and easy to use. The installation is simple especially with multiple people. The tools and hardware come packaged well. I’ve had bad experience with other brands in the past. The lighting addition could’ve been done better as the length of the light exceeeds the dimensions of the pergola and have to”tuck” it away but that was an extra bonus for me so it wasn’t a deal breaker.. We recently purchased the 10’ x 20’ Mirador pergola from Wayfair, and it has been such a great addition to our backyard. We had been considering this setup for a couple of years, and after a windstorm took out our old canopy, it felt like the right time—and we’re so glad we made the move. The adjustable louvers are a standout feature. We can control the amount of sunlight easily, and it’s even functional in the rain since the water channels off to the sides. It makes our patio space much more usable in all kinds of weather. The modern design looks fantastic and fits our space perfectly. We went with the steel version for the price point, and it feels sturdy and well-built. With a few extra hands, assembly was very manageable. Everything arrived well-packaged in four boxes, all in great condition, and the delivery team was excellent—they even placed everything under our carport as requested. Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. The shipment packaging is extremely well done and even though there was damage to the boxes, the product was sufficiently protected had no damage due to shipping. The 12x20 pergola I ordered is close to 1000 pounds shipping in 7 boxes so the heaviest single box is about 150 lbs so two people are needed to move it around. The instructions recommended 4 people for the install. I had my brother to help but due to the weight I wanted 6 people (one at each post) to move the assembled product to minimize damage to the frame. High quality parts all around but because it’s all aluminum that is great for lower weight but it is still 1/2 ton of weight that needs to be moved around during an installation. Please read carefully! So far the pergola is awesome! I did the research. It is as advertised. Sleek, modern, relatively easy to assemble! Love the louvre roof and each side can be adjusted separately, Pretty lightweight but I dont have to worry about snow! Looks and works great. Grills go in tomorrow! Why 2 stars My experience with Wayfair and Angi’s installation service which I paid 379 is the reason for my low rating. One contractor was a no-show. The other contractor couldnt do the job alone. Yet Angi penalized the guy who showed up. We got that rectified. But I asked to cancel the install and refund my fee especially after what happened and when I found out that the installers are only paid a 94.50 flat rate, FOR THE WHOLE JOB! Instead of cancelling the install it was marked as completed and they asked me to review the guy who was a no-show. Supposedly I may get a refund considering that the service was not performed and I had to do it myself anyway but Angi and Wayfair and pointing the finger at each other. High quality product, a really good design, nice colour and fairly easy to install. The delivery guys were great. There was a huge problem with tracking and delivery, where the package was over a month late, so I called to inquire and they cleared it up and got a replacement sent out to me in quick order.
