I wanted an 8 foot pool because I wanted to be able to lay flat and float around plus room for kiddos. This holds a decent amount of water so we treat the water so we are not dumping it every few days. It's held up a month, more that worth the 20 I paid. The landing mat is designed with soft padding for safety. Simply connect the garden hose and adjust water flow with the control valve. The smaller pool is equipped with overflow drain hole, so that water doesn't fill higher than 4.5in. The water capacity of the bigger pool is 8in, 130 gal. The maximum weight limit of this play center is 178 lb.
