These are nice chairs, look good and are sturdy. If you plan to keep them in the shade or in a covered porch or patio then you should be fine. It can take a little water and sun exposure from time to time, but as long as its not exposed to the elements 24/7, it should be fine. We planned to keep this out in the yard and made the mistake of choosing these wooden chairs instead of HDPE. We live in Florida, and get extreme sun and also very heavy and frequent rain. It lasted about 3 years in reasonable shape and by the 4th year it is ready to be discarded. Just ordered new HDPE chairs now.. Saurav. Land O Lakes, FL. Fri Jul 24 2026

The cup holder came broken in the box. The reason we picked this particular chair was because it had a cup holder on it. I contacted the manufacturer and they claimed they’d send us a new cup holder part. It’s been 2 weeks and fed ex still hasn’t received their box. I wouldn’t buy from this company again. Edited to add—I changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Wayfair was great with this whole process. I sent my complaint of not receiving my replacement part up to them and they were quick to respond and make it right.
