Love these chairs.. however they are identical but the first one had a set of instructions and was difficult to put together .. the second one had a different set of instructions that moved the steps around that worked so much better! I purchased these chairs as an alternative to the heavier Adirondack chairs you typically see. These will have to be removed from a grass area every week so I needed something I can stack and move with ease. They are a bit heavier than I expected, but still much lighter than a traditional Adirondack chair. While they do stack, they don’t stack in a tight stack. They are very comfortable and seem sturdy. These are nice chairs, look good and are sturdy. If you plan to keep them in the shade or in a covered porch or patio then you should be fine. It can take a little water and sun exposure from time to time, but as long as its not exposed to the elements 24/7, it should be fine. We planned to keep this out in the yard and made the mistake of choosing these wooden chairs instead of HDPE. We live in Florida, and get extreme sun and also very heavy and frequent rain.
