On the fence about these. At first glance they look nice, finish is natural, shape is good. However the first disappointment is that while I used the stated measurements multiple times they just arent quite as roomy as they should be. Was trying to match or come close to complement my existing Adirondack chairs but these are smaller than their stated measurements. So be aware of that if you expect larger people to be sitting in them. We have them in a covered spot so they will probably hold up well but will see as the winter progresses.. Anon. CO. Add a unique piece to your deck or yard with this adirondack chair. It has two seats with a table between so you can take snacks, a drink, and your favorite person with you to enjoy some relaxing time. The chair is angled toward each other, making visiting easier. The contoured seat slats add to the comfort. The wood is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage. The table can be finished with a quality penetrating oil, or left to weather to a silvery grey color. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.

These chairs are great. Super comfy. Not the easiest to assemble. There are a couple of weird parts I’ve never used before. But once you get the hang of it, it’s not too bad. A little disappointed that the instructions say they’re best inside or under cover, as ours will be outside. But we’re in Florida and it’s been a couple of months and they seem to be doing fine. I’m not in love with the color…a little too grainy for me.. Lisa. Orlando, FL. Wed Sep 11 2024

Chair is cedar and looks like the one pictured (good). Not sure what “handcrafted” means but it’s a stretch. Chair was made with a power router (by backsliding Amish?) and only the seating surface is sanded. Very rough surfaces. Came with zinc bolts not appropriate for outdoors. Came mostly assembled and solid. Pre-assembled parts do have coated screws. Reasonably happy but seller should remove Amish and handcrafted from title and send galvanized bolts.. Daniel. There is a reason that this fan-back outdoor cedar chair and ottoman has been so popular among this outdoor furniture collection! The Adirondack-style of this chair and ottoman provides a significant level of comfort by creating a "permanent recliner" effect with its sloped backrest, wide arm rests, and a smart, supportive design using thicker, wider slats. One thing that we have found about the traditional Adirondack chairs is that customers can feel like they are difficult to get in and out of, and we tend to agree! That's why we have taken the best parts of the design: the sloped backrest and wider arm rests, and improved upon the less desirable aspects: the significant sloping and the tendency to be lower to the ground by putting the seat on a standard outdoor chair base. Imagine yourself sitting in this comfortable, sturdy chair as you feel the breeze, enjoying the birds, squirrels, rabbits, deer, or other lovely creatures that inhabit your area.
