We have two of these Adirondack chairs. One is outside in our back deck in direct sun and no covering for most of the day and the other is on our covered front porch in shade for most of the day. Both chairs have held up to the outside elements very well. We keep them inside during the winter and back out Spring to Fall. We’ve had them for one year now and they’re still in great condition. The ability to fold them up easily is also great for storage. Highly recommend!. Lauren. OH. Sun Jul 12 2026

Had a few issues however I am in Florida and could be heat related. First the Styrofoam stuck to the chair and left residue, needs to be cleaned. The paint during assembly was rubbing off on the skin , maybe humidity. Overall love the chairs. Anonymous. Fri May 10 2024

The chairs are great. They look good, are comfortable and feel solid. Why not 5 stars? 1. I ordered 2 chairs. The front piece of 1 of the chairs had a shattered plank. I do want to underline that reporting the issue through Wayfair's site was very easy and I received a replacement part within 3 days. That was great. 2. The assembly is not super straightforward. In particular the instructions didn't work for me, especially step 1. You have to get 4 pieces together. Step 1 has you fully connect (and tighten) 2 pieces - when I did that I couldn't fit that pair of pieces with the 3rd one. Instead I relaxed step 1 to only lightly tighten in order to retain some flexibility. 3. The packaging uses styrofoam. For one it's a horrible pollutant that doesn't biodegrade and sheds everywhere. Then, related to that latter point, do budget a fair amount of time, cleaning up styrofoam in whatever room you do the assembly in.. Anonymous. Mon Oct 19 2026

There are pre-drilled holes to put the chair together, which is great - IF they line up. The front legs have 3 holes each. ONE out of the 8 front legs (4 chairs) lined up for all three holes. All the other 7 front legs (on the 4 chairs) only 2 of the 3 holes lined up. This was frustrating. We will drill our own third hole to make sure the chair is sturdy. Otherwise, a nice chair for the price.. Jennifer. Arvada, CO. Mon Jun 06 2022

Not a bad chair. Pretty & real nice paint job. Would not recommend for older folks who have trouble getting up from Adk chairs. With a cushion it is do-able. It actually came with a damaged front board. One of the screws and wood was all chewed up. Slight Crack in back board also. WAYFAIR did give me a discount off cost so I decided to keep it for a backup chair.. Cheryl. New York. Thu Apr 27 2023
