The dark main color is decorated with natural wood color, which makes this lamp look particularly decent and exquisite. This lamp can almost match the modern or retro space style.

It works, but you have to be intentional about how you mount it. All three joints move in a single direction, so don’t assume you will have the ability to change the direction later on. I have a similar mount-on-the-wall light which allow for more movement and I somewhat expected that to be a standard. Also, you should plan to use a shorter bulb if you don’t want it sticking out. These are much prettier than the online photo (it was blurry and hard to see). I gambled and ordered two. My area had very specific criteria (needed to be tall and skinny, backplate a certain size and needed the height from backplate up). I finally found something that fit all the criteria. The sconces are unique and sophisticated looking. I have 103 year old house, so wanted crystals (fit time period). One crystal was broken upon arrival, but customer service already has a replacement on the way. My order arrived in two pieces, but it all worked out as the second box arrived one hour before the electrician arrived. whew. The shade is a nice linen and not plastic . It has subdued mixed metals and it gives it a vintage look. I am not crazy about the "stripes" on the arm and round bulls eye on the backplate... but now they are installed, it just gives it more dimension and not very noticeable.
