This light is really nice quality! And it is literally the perfect thing for our situation. The previous owners installed an awkwardly high sconce near the bed and didn’t wire it up to a switch. When we happened upon a breathtaking avant garde Modernist candelabra, we were determined to resurrect it as a chandelier and sconce with electric lamping. The ensuing process was a labor of love, as we sought to establish balance in a purposefully asymmetrical fixture and create the illusion of continuity. Transforming the piece from a sculptural base for wax-and-flame candles to an electric fixture, we continued our brand tradition of keeping the bobeches and making the candle sleeves the same finish as the rest of the piece.
