Art Deco Ceiling Fan

This ceiling fan delivers cottage-inspired, traditional style to your home. It's made with a finished frame and wood blades, and it includes a light kit, down rod, shade, and blades. This ceiling fan features a hanging propeller design with a caged body made with colorful stained glass with a pointed finial for a vintage-inspired look. We love that this ceiling fan features pull-chain operation but also includes a remote control as well as adapts to wall controls. It's compatible with a dimmer switch for customized lighting, and the blades are reversible to change the spinning direction.

This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. The prettiest fan EVER...BUUUUT!!! It stop working in 7 months. The light won't go out. Called an Electrician and he said the unit had to be replaced. Awesome upgrade!! It took a few days to arrive & when I received it I initially was worried about the hue of the gold tone...but once it was up I am so happy for the purchase. The installation seemed pretty straightforward out of the box....my handyman put it up fairly quick. Only critique was the battery that came with the remote was dead....so he fumbled with the fan/remote for an extra 10 min thinking something went wrong with the install...only for us to figure out that it was only the battery that was the culprit. The good Overall, it’s a great looking piece and the fan works surprisingly very well! When not in use the fan blades are barely visible and tuck away. kind of like a beetle’s wings would cling close to its body and then when the fan turns on the wings come out and circulate air really well. My son‘s room gets cold with it on despite the Texas summer! The bad - The manufacturers instructions are absolutely horrible and you cannot find assistance on their website. - I was also disappointed that the remote does not allow me to dim the lightbulbs even though they are dimmable bulbs. - You have to use the remote and your existing switches need to remain in the “on” position, but otherwise are functionally obsolete - One of the glass globes did not have the threaded piece attached so it could not be put on. The other globe had the threads attached, but it was in a damaged way so that the threads did not screw on all the way and the globe broke off. The threads are now stuck and will not come off. Unfortunately, all of the globes and arms are tied together and meet in the center so there is no way to remove only one of the arms and replace it. Therefore, I will need to replace the bottom portion which includes all of the light fixture component as well as need two globes with the threaded pieces intact. It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. The fan is very quiet, we are able to sleep with the fan on all night. We also have high ceilings and the fan still does a very good job of circulating the air even on the lowest setting.. Stephanie.
