Compliments the bed. Needed to replace the brass sconces. The only issue i had was that the mounting bracket screws did not align well with the electrical boc because the mounting studs for the lamp were in the way. Needs an X shaped bracket with a screw in the middle ti be more versatile with the lamp studs on one part and the other is open for attaching to receptacle box. This light is really nice quality! And it is literally the perfect thing for our situation. The previous owners installed an awkwardly high sconce near the bed and didn’t wire it up to a switch. To turn on the light previously, we had to stretch to reach the knob. The adjustable height is perfect and the fact that the knob to turn it on is going to be closer to us is really important.
