Hand-stitched linen shades: Hand-stitched lampshades carry a unique charm and character precisely because of their imperfections. Each one holds the signature of the craftsman's hand, showcasing subtle variations that make it one-of-a-kind. Unlike mass-produced items, they reflect time spent in meticulous work and a touch of individuality that can't be replicated. The shade requires "fluffing" to fill the volume; they are unique in being asymmetrical. If you admire hand-crafted objects, you will appreciate the handwork in these unique hand-stitched shades. I ordered this to light up my small living room that doesn’t have any light fixture. It was to be used in an outlet controlled by a switch. However this lamp has a tap to turn on and is not functional being controlled by a switch. Additionally I ordered it specifically because it claimed to be heavy as it is going on carpet but it is extremely wobbly. Final problem, it does not put out nearly enough light for my small living room. Needless to say I am returning.. Hari. Soquel, CA. Mon Aug 17 2026
