Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. While the high firing temperature and quality of this glazed terracotta garden art result in a durable and frost-resistant product, they still recommend that it be stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the garden art to crack and break. Garden Art that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snowcovered and ice from accumulating.

Two of these came, as ordered. They are the same except one is looking up and one down. Wonderful glazed color, beutiful design, well crafted. First - The wings attach with a metal clip which is "brazed" (welded) to the wing assembly. One one of th e 4 wings the cliop was detached from the wing so it could not be attached. The other bird was perfecrt, on inspection. Did not assmbled them. I honed the number on the attached "in case of trouble" sheet. Their phone answerd that the were no longer providing phone support. These lights are perfect for my needs. Elegant design, warm and bright diffused light, and long battery life per charge with solar or USB-C backup. Love them. One heads-up: the instructions never explain how to activate the automatic dusk-to-dawn mode. The feature is there. There's an integrated twilight sensor built right in, but Rosendahl leaves you to figure it out yourself.
