Some things reveal their worth before they are ever truly used this is one of them. Some things reveal their worth before they are ever truly used — this is one of them. The chandelier has not yet been hung — an upcoming electrical project will see to that this week — but in the time I have spent with it unboxed and in hand, it has already made a profound impression. The craftsmanship is immediately apparent the crystals are exceptionally clear and beautifully faceted, catching even ordinary light and breaking it into something that feels almost theatrical. There is a particular anticipation that comes with a piece you know is going to transform a room. This chandelier carries that promise convincingly. Ive envisioned it suspended above my dining table countless times already — and each time the image feels more right. The scale, the way the crystals will catch candlelight during an evening gathering, the elegance it will lend to an otherwise understated space. It is the kind of fixture that quietly becomes the heart of a room. Once the installation is complete and it is finally illuminated above the dining table where it belongs, I have no doubt it will be stunning. This is a considered purchase I am already certain of — the crystals alone justify every expectation.
