I needed to camouflage my large concrete septic tank lid which sits below a portion of deck. It puts out tremendous light. I bought the 71” version but it swayed waaay too much. I ordered the pole with this lantern and I love it. It does not come with a bulb. I suggest using an aquarium type long skinny bulb. It looks great. Again make sure your pole has the mounting kit as I had to pay my electrician to come back after I had to order the kit. I like this a lot and it was a nice and easy install. It comes with the lightbulb which is also really nice. The only thing that frustrated me is that the base of it is plastic. I was screwing it in and the plastic cracked. I plan to paint the post so I will try to cover the crack with paint also but when that happens with a new light you are just frustrated. The one I had replaced had a metal base and it made me question if I was going down in quality.. Kate. Bloomsburg, PA. Thu Oct 08 2026
